Mexican Riviera Cruise!

Last month we embarked on our first cruise! We took a Carnival cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It was our first cruise and we enjoyed our cruising experience. It's the ultimate lazy person vacation. You don't have to cook or clean or lift a finger. We basically spent the whole time on the boat either hanging out by the pool or going to shows.

James on the top deck.

This would be a great picture if it weren't so blurry. It was a beautiful sunset.

So pretty.
PUERTO VALLARTA:
Our first stop it was a bit rainy so we didn't do anything on the beach really. We walked around and did some shopping. This was the least favorite of the stops.

Exploring.

More walking around.

MAZATLAN:
Our second stop was much better than the day before. It was a little drizzly at first, but cleared up and ended up being beautiful. We ended up going to a resort just to hang out for the day. The cab driver dropped us off about a mile away from where we needed to be (I think on purpose, that's another story), but we eventually found it.

We also ate lunch there and had the most wonderful tamales. It was super cheap too, so that's always a bonus.

This cab driver was much nicer. He had the music blasting and took us on a scenic drive back to the boat. The funniest thing was that he had a specific button in his cab that made a whistle sound to make at girls. Nice.

CABO SAN LUCAS:
Our third and final stop, and our favorite! It was a beautiful day and the city was clean and quiet (until we all got there).

On our taxi boat to go out to the Lover's Beach! :)

I loved the clear blue water! Our driver tossed some fish food in the water so we could see all the fish.

We rented some snorkel gear and we snorkeled in this area. It was so cool to see and be so close to so many different fish.

This is Land's End. It's a cool arch at the end of the little peninsula. It was so pretty.

Here I am with the boat behind me. That water was so blue and gorgeous.
We have more pictures on our web album. Back to normal life. It was a nice break!
